The Franciscans of Restored Hope

The Franciscans of Restored Hope (FRH) is our religious order, rooted in Franciscan principles of service and love. Based on Southern California, the Community aims to serve the marginalized through service and contemplative prayer.

The Saint Max Kolbe Mission

The St. Max Kolbe Mission serves those living and working on Skid Row, El Pueblo and Westlake-MacArthur Park. Through a ministry of presence, we accompany our neighbors with compassion while recognizing and supporting the dignity of every person. The Mission provides food, comfort care items, and pastoral care.

Seminary of the Sacred Heart

Coming in September 2026 the Seminary of the Sacred Heart is an inclusive, welcoming seminary to prepare candidates for ordination or ministerial life in the Church. We are a religiously exempt institution in California, offering Associates, Bachelors, and Masters degrees leading to ordination or certification as a lay ecclesial minister.

St. Vibiana Circle

The St. Vibiana Circle serves individuals and families experiencing housing displacement through eviction, redevelopment, or gentrification. We provide advocacy, support, and, when funding is available, rental and legal assistance to help people remain safely housed. Inspired by St. Vibiana—whose earthly remains were themselves displaced several times over the centuries—we are committed to the work of housing justice, stability, and compassionate accompaniment.
